This includes: Smart Insert (Resolve locates the nearest edit in the timeline and inserts the clip into this location), Append to End (adds the clip to the end of the timeline edit with the In and Out points you have previously selected), Close-Up (auto-creates a partially zoomed-in version of the shot you have selected, placing on top of the timeline), Ripple Overwrite, Place on Top and Source Overwrite.
